WELCOME TO CIRFIN

How Can We Incentivize a Greener World?

Our world is facing a myriad of obstacles such as degrading biodiversity, climate change and pollution. The take-make-waste approach of the linear economy is unsustainable. Circular economy attempts to address this by regenerating waste and keeping products and materials in circulation. However, lack of participation and incentives for the poorest members of the globe remains an impediment to its success. It is essential we bring about a generation of changemakers that use financial technology to help connect these members, be it bottle pickers in Africa, paper collectors in India or waste pickers in America. That's where CirFin comes in!

CirFin is a global initiative equipping young leaders with fintech and sustainability education. We provide young students a toolkit to create sustainable solutions to our world's problems. However, we don't just expose youth to financial technology & sustainable practices: we teach them how to use these skills to build real-world solutions.

DESIGNING ON THE BRINK: PRODUCTS FOR A CLIMATE IN CRISIS

Our Best-Selling Book On Sustainability

Designing on the Brink: Products for a Climate in Crisisour founder Aaryan's book, highlights a path forward in a world where we set lofty goals, but continue to fall short to fix our world in the face of climate change.

The take-make-waste approach of our linear economy is the biggest driver towards waste generation, uncontrolled resource consumption, and aggressive resource exploitation. It has ravaged our planet.

But there is hope. A circular economy promotes the reuse of our products for longer, where we rent and return products instead of wasting them. Unfortunately, both a lack of financial incentive and single-use conventional product designs have made this transition difficult. In this book, I illustrate how the intersection of circular design and recent innovation in fin-tech can facilitate this transition -- and in the process, help us heal our planet.
